WARRANTY INFORMATION
Engine Parts Unlimited, Inc. stands behind the quality of our workmanship, parts, and engines. We offer comprehensive warranty coverage on all Genuine Deutz Parts, Deutz Engines, and Service Work.
New Genuine Deutz Parts: All new genuine Deutz parts carry the manufacturer's standard warranty. Warranty terms vary by part type. Please contact us for specific warranty information on the parts you are purchasing.
XChange Remanufactured Parts and Engines: All XChange remanufactured products carry a Deutz-backed warranty. These products meet or exceed original factory specifications and are covered by Deutz's remanufactured product warranty program.
Service Workmanship: Engine Parts Unlimited, Inc. warranties all service work performed by our certified Deutz mechanics. If you experience any issues related to our service work, please contact us immediately.
RETURN POLICY
Parts Returns: Unused parts in original packaging may be returned within 30 days of purchase with original receipt. Special order parts and electrical components are non-returnable. All returns are subject to inspection and approval.
Engine Returns: Engine returns are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our New Engines Department before attempting to return any engine. Core credits are issued after inspection and approval of returned engine cores.
Tool Rentals: Rented tools must be returned in clean, undamaged condition by the agreed-upon return date. Late returns may incur additional rental fees. Damaged or lost tools will be charged at replacement cost.
Restocking Fee: A restocking fee may apply to certain returns. The fee amount varies based on the item and condition. Please contact us for specific restocking fee information.
OPEN ACCOUNTS
We value all of our customers. If you are a repeat customer, please ask about obtaining an open line of credit account.
Having an "open account" status will simplify the ordering process and keep your engines running even during tough times. You will need to fill out an application first, and we look forward to you becoming a trusted member of the EPU family.
To apply for an open account:
- Contact our Parts Department at 203-265-7871 (press 1)
- Request an open account application
- Complete and return the application with required documentation
- Allow 5-7 business days for processing and approval
Open accounts are available to established businesses, government entities, and qualified individual customers. Credit limits and terms are determined based on credit history and business references.
DEUTZ XCHANGE CORE ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
The Deutz XChange program requires that returned engine cores meet specific acceptance criteria to qualify for core credit. Engine Parts Unlimited, Inc. works with Deutz to ensure all cores are properly evaluated.
Core must be:
- The original Deutz engine core (same model family)
- Complete with all major components (block, head, crankshaft, etc.)
- Not cracked, broken, or severely damaged
- Free of foreign material and excessive corrosion
- Returned within the specified time period
SHIPPING INFORMATION
Engine Parts Unlimited, Inc. ships domestically and internationally to most locations. We use trusted carriers including UPS, FedEx, and freight services for larger items.
